Hey guys and today we are going to review “Overwatch.” This is our first ever Game Review in this News channel so please Enjoy and stay in touch.
Overwatch is like your average FPS except with a cartoon style and a few perks. There are more than 21 characters in Overwatch which each are much different with different personality and different Weapons. Example characters are Tracer, Winston, McCree, and Bastion. They each have personality and different weapons such as Tracers pulse pistols and Winston’s Tesla cannons. Overwatch included a special mechanic that includes Ability’s and Ultimate’s. Each Ultimate is unique and different such as Bastion’s Ultimate meaning Bastion turns into a tank and shoots cannon fire. At the end of each round there is a “Play of the Game,” meaning whoever did the most work gets everyone to see their kill cam and Highlight Intro. That’s the basics of Game play.
-In Game Customization-
This game features things like Skins, Custom Highlight Intros, Voice Lines and Sprays. One of the way to achieve these items are by buying them with these In-game coins you earn with Loot Boxes, Loot boxes also give customization items such as voice lines and skins. You get loot boxes by either buying them the easy way, or by finding them randomly the hard way. Depending on the item or customization you want it cost a certain amount of coins you need. Legendary skins is something you can find very rarely in Loot Boxes but is well worth it. Each legendary skin cost 1000 tokens.
There is 6 game modes in Overwatch being “Escort,” “Assault,” “Hybrid,” “Control,” “Trivia and References.” Escort is basically Payload that was originally created in “Team Fortress 2” being you have to escort a cart while the enemy team is trying to stop you from escorting the cart, Once the cart is moved to the destination the defending team wins, If time runs out for the defending team the attacking team wins. “Assault” is a Game Mode in which the Attacking and Defending teams must attempt to take or defend capture points across the map.
Both teams battle over control of the map, one team on offense, the other on defense. The attackers’ goal is to capture critical objectives, while the defenders must maintain control over them until time runs out. Simple as that. “Hybrid” is just Assault and Escort combined into one. “Control” is where the teams fight for objective areas and whoever has the Objective controlled at the end wins.
We rate this game 9/10, Why not 10/10? It still has many flaws being It mostly took many things that “Team Fortress 2” has but in mixed ways.
