Latest Technology And Machines for Battery is Available in Power On

Since 2011, we have turned to e-vehicles, although still there are thousands of villages in the country where electricity is not available But in cities these vehicles have been successful in proving their usefulness. The Government has clearly said that by the year 2030, the number of electric vehicles on the roads will make other vehicles (such as petrol or diesel vehicles) far behind.

Latest Technology And Machines for Battery is Available in Power On. Dr. V.K. Aggarwal, President, Federation, at a technical seminar at 13th Power-On.

For the last 7-8 years we have been organizing technical seminars. Every seminar has been better than last one. This year seminar was dedicated to well -known battery expert Dr. Detchko Pavlov. I believe that not only the lead acid battery industry but also many other electrochemistry entrepreneurs, has been benefited with work of Dr. Pavlov. In this tribute seminar, Dr. Patrick T. Moseley associated with us, it is a privilege of all of us. Now I would like to keep the situation of India on the global economy, economy of India and e-vehicle, lead acid batteries etc. to everyone.

Battery Industry will Grow with Rising Economy

According to the World Bank report, the economy is likely to grow at a speed of 2.7percent in the current global financial year and this will be further increase by 2.9 precent. India seems to play a key role in this development work. If we talk about the present India, the country has become free from the pressure of demonetization, however due to GST there are still some problems in the industries. The countries economy is now looking back on track. By the end of the year, hope that the growth rate will increase by 6.7percent and by next year it is expected to reach 7.5percent. India is the only country whose growth rate is so good. It can be estimated from the fact that the lead acid battery industry will also advance in its own way.

Future Electric Vehicles

Since 2011, we have turned to e-vehicles, although still there are thousands of villages in the country where electricity is not available But in cities these vehicles have been successful in proving their usefulness. The Government has clearly said that by the year 2030, the number of electric vehicles on the roads will make other vehicles (such as petrol or diesel vehicles) far behind.

Lead Acid Battery Industry doubled in 5 years

A few years ago many people had understood the small lead acid battery industry. But I would like to tell everyone that the Indian lead acid battery industry has doubled in the last 5 years. Today, the Indian acid battery market is worth 7 billion US dollars (about Rs 50,000 crore). We are using 1.5 million tons of lead in making batteries. India is the second largest country among countries using lead in batteries, China is at first. We have a huge number of markets ready in front of everyone, in which e-rickshaw batteries, solar batteries, hybrid car batteries are the major ones.

Inform us about Troubles

Around 225 people participated in the technical seminar held this year. This is a great achievement. You can keep your problems being faced by you before the Federation. Federation will try to resolve them. In the coming times, we have to compete with big companies. So you will need the latest technology and machines. Both of them are available at Power on Fair. Do not afraid to come forward and ask questions. We are with you.
