E-rickshaw battery to be fast charged- Microporus launches separator with Ultra Low Electrical Resistance in the market

Now the E Rickshaw battery can be charged 30 percent faster with the use of newly introduced advanced Battery separator by American company MICROPOROUS in the Indian market, named - CellForce®ULR. ULR means Ultra Low Resistance. Cellforce® is a registered brand and is patented for a type of battery separator.

Mr. Vikas of M/s Etasha Batteries Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, agent of Microporous in India. Ltd. state that this separator has been made with a special process and material, due to which the charging time of the battery is reduced by 30% compared to the normal polyethylene separator, meaning the battery will charge 30% faster, oxidation will be reduced, water consumption will also be lesser and its life is also higher than other separators. It has another important feature - its cold cranking ability. Its use will not cause problems in cars starting in winter.

This separator is made of a special mixture of polyethylene and rubber, in which polyethylene gives strength and long-lasting ability and rubber oxidation prevents and retains moisture in the separator.   
Its other features are:

Extremely low electrical resistance– which keeps the battery easily charged with a low current in case of unuse. 

More Overcharge-discharge cycle- More Cycle life. 

Can be easily enveloped to the battery plate.

Puncture resistance is very high. A puncture does not happen easily. 

This separator was tested on different types of batteries with different electric resistance and different back web. The results are given below:
